Theme: Different Models of Conflict Mediation in Indigenous Communities
The purpose of this workshop is to share the experiences of various ethnic groups and their traditional forms of justice. These systems of justice and reintegration generally ask the perpetrator responsible for acts against an individual or a community to rejoin society and for this to happen, a number of different systems exist to facilitate the process.
Representatives from the following indigenous communities will participate in the workshop: Kogi, Arhuaca, Wayuu, Paeces-Nasa, Guambianos, Muinane, Curipaco, Sikuani, Siona, among others.
The agenda of this Session will be jointly designed by the various participants, who will be meeting before the Symposium.
